By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”).

2. SPECIFIC DISCLAIMER: PRODUCT NATURE, BREAKING YIELD, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. You acknowledge and agree that the products sold by CORE (specifically silicone rings) are designed with a specific silicone blend material This means the ring is engineered to break under certain levels of tension to potentially prevent ring avulsion or finger degloving.
By purchasing and wearing this product, you explicitly agree that:
- No Guarantee of Safety: While the ring is designed to break under tension, CORE makes no medical or safety guarantee that the ring will prevent injury in all circumstances.
- Assumption of Risk: The decision to wear any jewellery, including silicone rings, during physical activity, manual labour, or daily life is a choice made solely by the customer. You assume full responsibility for any risk of bodily injury, death, or property damage arising out of or related to the use of the product.
- Limitation of Liability for Injury: CORE Active Brand (Pty) Ltd. shall not be held liable or at fault for any injury to the finger, hand, or person, or for the breakage of the ring itself during use. The breaking of the ring is considered a product feature, not a defect, when subjected to tension.
3. LIFETIME PRODUCT WARRANTY
We stand by the quality of our products with a Lifetime Product Warranty.
- Coverage: This warranty covers accidental breakages and tears of the ring.
- Exclusions: This warranty specifically excludes stretching. Stretching is generally caused by misuse or incorrect application (e.g., sizing) of the ring and is not covered.
- Claim Process: To claim a replacement, you must contact us with your Order Number or Receipt.
- Replacement Terms:
- If the ring breaks or tears by accident, we will replace it with the exact same size and colour as originally ordered.
- Courier Fees: While the replacement ring is free under warranty, courier/shipping fees will apply and are payable by the customer.
- Finger-Saving Stories: If your ring broke while saving your finger from injury, please share your story with us!
4. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 2-3 business days. (Please note: Weekends and public holidays are not business days).
Delivery Times:
- South Africa: 2 – 3 days from the shipping date.
- International: 5 – 7 working days.
Special Deliveries: If you require urgent or special delivery, please contact us ASAP. Note that special delivery pricing may differ from standard rates.
Tracking: Delivery is confirmed by way of Email with a unique waybill number for tracking purposes. CORE uses a 3rd party courier service.
5. RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND REFUNDS
Exchanges:
- We offer a 30-day exchange policy from the delivery date.
- The original Order Number must be provided.
- Shipping Costs: The product must be returned at your own personal expense. All exchanges are subject to new shipping charges for the replacement item.
- Engraved Items: There will be NO exchanges made on engraved rings.
Refunds and Cancellations:
- Unavailability: If a product is unavailable, CORE will refund the client in full within 30 days.
- Customer Cancellation: Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 25% administration fee.
- Refund Fees: If a refund is requested, the ring(s) must be returned at the client’s expense. The final refund payout will attract transaction fees of 10% – 16% of the purchase price to cover merchant costs.
6. PAYMENT AND SECURITY
- Accepted Methods: Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, and EFT.
- Transaction Currency: The merchant outlet country is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
- Card Security: Card transactions will be acquired for CORE via PayGate (Pty) Ltd, the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3).
- Data Storage: No card details are stored on the CORE website. Customer details are stored by CORE separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. You may view PayGate’s security certificate at www.paygate.co.za.
7. ONLINE STORE TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of 18 in your province or territory of residence.
- You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
8. ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION
We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete, or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk.
Promotions: Special offers may be limited to certain countries. Pricing and offerings on the website may vary from different retail stores.

For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa. We collect only data necessary for the processing of orders and marketing (where consented).
13. SMS/MOBILE MARKETING TERMS
By consenting to CORE Active Brand’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of CORE through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided.
- Opt-Out: You may opt-out of receiving marketing SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.
14. ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally there may be information on our site or in the Service that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times, and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related website is inaccurate at any time without prior notice.

We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law (including the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa), CORE Active Brand (Pty) Ltd. shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service.
Reiteration regarding Silicone Rings: As stated in Section 2, CORE is not liable for ring failure or any injury sustained while wearing the product.
17. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CORE Active Brand (Pty) Ltd. and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms of Service or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
18. GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION, AND DOMICILE
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
- Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service shall be resolved in the magistrate or high courts located in Johannesburg, South Africa, and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
- Domicile: CORE Active Brand (Pty) Ltd. chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement the address: P.O Box 837 Lanseria, 1748 South Africa.
